Cover Updates for "A Field of Red" and "White Lines"

AFOR SPINE small.jpg

I’ve been working with my designer on new covers for “A Field of Red” and “White Lines” to incorporate my new book numbering system. You may not have noticed, but the fifth book in the series, “Green with Envy,” included a number 5 on the spine instead of the usual icon or small graphic related to some aspect of the book.

Reading Order

I’ve written TOO MANY BOOKS and many folks ask in which order the books should be read. As a reminder, the read order is:

  1. “A Field of Red”

  2. “Black Ice”

  3. “White Lines”

  4. “Yellow Jacket”

  5. “Green with Envy”

As of right now, all the other covers (besides “Green with Envy”) still include those icons, but my designer has updated “A Field of Red” and “Black Ice” with numbers, and new paperback copies of those books will be rolling out in the next few weeks.

Coming soon…and Kindle Updates!

I’m also taking the opportunity to update both Kindle versions, so if you have typos or information, please send them in via my “Report a Typo” link. And both of the new paperback covers will be available for order soon!

New Cover Art for “Black Ice”

In addition, we’ve chosen a new image for “Black Ice,” a more somber-looking fishing shack on a frozen lake, to replace the earlier image, which didn’t really do a good job of teasing the plot. We also phased out the more “purple” tint of that title.
